Where it all began
Swimline was founded in 1971 by Herman Schwimmer as a family-run manufacturer of above ground pool liners. From the beginning, the company built its reputation on quality craftsmanship, reliable supply, and strong partnerships across the pool trade.
Today, Swimline remains the largest domestic manufacturer of above ground pool liners in the United States - a legacy business that continues to anchor the brand as it expands across the broader pool and water leisure market.
Expanding fun
Swimline founded International Leisure Products, significantly expanding its offerings to include pool toys, games, fun floats, and accessories. This growth allowed Swimline to better serve its expanding network of retail and distribution partners while maintaining a consistent focus on quality, safety, and value.
Entering maintenance
Swimline acquired United Leisure Industries HydroTools Inc., marking a major step into pool maintenance and equipment. This acquisition enabled Swimline to offer essential accessories such as leaf skimmers, filters, pumps, and other maintenance tools, reinforcing its commitment to providing reliable, professional-grade products to the pool trade.
Beyond the pool
Swimline launched Solstice Watersports, extending beyond the pool and bringing the same focus on quality and performance to inflatable docks, dog water ramps, paddleboards, kayaks, and open-water accessories.
Game on
Swimline acquired GAME, the brand behind the iconic Derby Duck, further strengthening its presence in pool games, accessories, and family-focused water fun.
